Based on the CLP and REACH regulations, ozone is classified as a substance that can cause or aggravate fires, in high concentration is toxic to humans and animals and can cause severe skin burns, serious eye injuries and damage to organs in cases of prolonged exposure. It is fatal if inhaled.
Because of its hazardousness, the WHO (World Health Organization) in its guidelines indicates as daily exposure limit 100 µg/m³ (approx. 0.05 ppm for 8 hours), threshold above which ozone becomes toxic, though not carcinogenic, to humans.
The ozone generators (ozonisers) that we sell and use to carry out disinfection are professional and certified and comply with the permitted concentration limits in order to guarantee total disinfection of the environment in a completely safe way. They also comply with Legislative Decree 193/2007 Haccp and Legislative Decree 81/2008.
